Volunteer Program at Conference

AHIMA is bringing back their very exciting volunteer program at the 2019 AHIMA Conference in Chicago IL! This volunteer program is intended to give an opportunity for current students or new graduates to attend the 2019 AHIMA Conference with all expenses paid (within the AHIMA travel policy guidelines including flights, accommodation, transfers, and meals). The selected volunteers will be assigned activities throughout the conference. This is a great opportunity for our future leaders to become more engaged in the profession! Volunteer activities may include: 
• Registration 
• Info Booth 
• Door Monitors 
• Stuff bags 
• Bag and badge pickup 
• Pre-meeting support 
• Career Theater and Fair 
• Introducing speakers 
• Foundation/Auction
*Additional tasks as they arise

  • AHIMA Member
  • Must be actively enrolled in a (CAHIIM) accredited program with a current minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) or 4.0 (out of 5.0) or graduated between January 2nd, 2019 and the application deadline.

New Graduate Volunteer Program APPLY NOW!

  • AHIMA Member
  • Graduated from a (CAHIIM) accredited program with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0) or 4.0 (out of 5.0) 
  • Graduated between May 1, 2017, and January 1, 2019. 
  • Hold a RHIT or RHIA credential.
